In this presentation, Todd Peterson discusses the LNG business and how it has developed over the past 100+ years, examining the traditional LNG business plan vs. the new LNG business plan, as well as answering the question, "what is LNG?". He breaks down the LNG value chain in segments and gives attendees an insight on what is involved in developing an LNG project, as well as compares different LNG models, including the Argentina model, the Enron model, the Dabhol Power model, the Atlantic LNG model and the Cheniere model. Throughout the presentation, Todd uses his personal experiences over the past 35 years in developing LNG projects around the globe as case examples to describe some of the high-level challenges and opportunities.
